Another view from the river. Equally unfair as the last.
Still standing.
Lamborghini & Ferrari in the same month. A divine sign. Go big or go home.
Home of the pizza.

Giornos(?) 4-6
A few pictures until I actually upload ALL of them.
American cars ARE appreciated!
From the bridge. Over the river. Not fair.
Duomo/Florence Cathedral. Pictures do not do it justice. This thing is completely ridiculously breathtaking.
Artists with chalk or oil or crayons or something. Impressive either way.

Giorno 3
Castrated? So immature.Lots of scenes like this one. You can tell they really loved their arches.
My missing bag just happened to contain my deodorant and it was 90 degrees today. Not a good look (or smell). Had to give the Italian deodorant a try. Please no rashes. Update: my bag is apparently in Paris with about 1,000 other displaced bags...curse the airlines!

Giorno 2
Giorno 1
9:00 p.m. in Florence and the sun was still out. pretty fabulous.
Getting here was an adventure that included (lowlights) 2 cancelled flights, waiting a total of 4 hours on the runways of three different airports, a missed flight, a missing bag, finding that some of the liquids in my CHECKED bag are missing and being ripped off in the florence airport when exchanging my money.
Highlights included passing through airport security with Seal (singer and husband of Heidi Klum), successfully maneuvering through the Paris airport, never losing my cool, arriving to my hotel in Florence and buying a neck pillow (best thing ever).
So far so good. Benvenuto.
